I hope you are as excited as I am for the first inaugural Given Family Reunion! The weekend promises to be full of fun and family bonding. 

I have tried to balance the agenda between free time and family time. You can do as much or as little as you'd like, but the main goal of this first reunion is connecting and getting to know each other.

Friday, June 23

As people arrive, we'll all get together in a private meeting room at the Shawnee Inn for food, drinks and socializing. It will be a casual evening of getting to know each other better, telling family stories and finding your place on the Family Tree.

 

Saturday, June 24

Start your day with a buffet breakfast in the River Room. Then spend the day freely exploring all the hotel and local area have to offer.

Book a tee time on Shawnee Inn's golf course, relax at the Shawnee Spa, enjoy water activities on the Delaware River, hike the Appalachian Trail, or take part in any number of other outdoor activities. 

Drive only a few minutes off property to explore gorgeous Bushkill Falls, known as the Niagra of Pennsylvania. Visit the Lakota Wolf Preserve to learn about and observe these amazing endangered animals. Fly through the trees with Pocono Tree Ventures zip lining experience. 

Enjoy your day, then we will all get back together for an off-site dinner at 6:00pm at Peppe's Bistro where we will enjoy a casual Northern Italian dinner in a private dining room.  

After dinner we'll head next door to Skylands Bowling to cap off the night with Rock-N-Bowl, a Starburst Laser Light show with booming surround sound and 3 giant 15-foot video screens playing today's hottest videos! There may even be some prizes awaiting those with the top scores.

Sunday, June 24

For our last day together, we will conclude the reunion with a final breakfast at 9:00am in our private meeting room.  Pile up your plate with food from the delicious breakfast buffet and settle in to talk about family business, including whether there is interest in another reunion. If so, we will vote on dates, location and a host.
